Privacy Policy

• Account information: name, mobile number, email address and the PIN or password you set (PINs and passwords are stored only in an encrypted, one-way form).
• Dairy business data you enter: dairy name, farmer records, milk collection entries (litres, FAT, SNF, rate, amount), rate charts, loans and advances, material deductions, payments and ledger balances.
• Usage and device data: basic app logs, error reports and timestamps needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, SMS or call logs, and we do not use tracking advertising SDKs.

• To create and secure your account and verify your role (owner, worker or farmer).
• To run the features you use: collection entry, ledgers, slips, reports, payments records and sharing.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To maintain security, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Business data belongs to the dairy that created it. Each dairy's data is isolated at the database level: workers and farmers can only see the data of the dairy that invited them, and farmers can see only their own records. MilkVala staff access data only when required for support, security or legal reasons.

We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with service providers who host and operate the app (secure cloud database and hosting), or when required by law. When you choose to share a slip or report on WhatsApp or print it, that action is initiated by you.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls and row-level security rules. PINs and passwords are stored as one-way hashes and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. We keep dairy records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for backup, accounting and legal purposes.

MilkVala is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The latest version will always be available at this page, and significant changes will be notified inside the app.
